Alex and I first approached a middle-aged man who appeared to be former military, wearing a Camp Meeker T-shirt.

Alex Jones (AJ): How you doing, sir?

Unidentified Man (UM): OK.

AJ: You from Camp Meeker? I noticed that on your T-shirt.

UM: Yeah.

AJ: Oh! I’m Alex Jones. I make documentaries. I’m just curious: what do you think about Bohemian Grove?

UM: I used to work there.

AJ: You used to work there?

UM: Yeah.

AJ: And now you work at Camp Meeker.

UM: No, I don’t work...see, I live at Camp Meeker.

AJ: Oh, you live there.

UM: Yeah.

AJ: Well that’s great. Uh, did you ever watch the Cremation of Care?

UM: Uhh...ummm.... No. No.

AJ: What’d ya do at the...

UM: I just worked there.

AJ: But you never saw them march around in the red robes?

UM: No, no! (Laughs)

AJ: Oh, really? That doesn’t go on? (Man becomes uncomfortable. Makes his excuses to end interview quickly, walks away)

AJ: (Laughs) OK.
